Training Programmes 2005 - 06 |
|
The
National Federation has been organizing training
programmes on selective basis for the urban
cooperative banks and for credit societies also.
The response has always been uniformly
encouraging. 14 such training programmes have
been organized during the year 2005-06 with five
of them being organized exclusively for the
cooperative credit societies. Details of the

Conference / Seminar / Workshops |
|
During the year under report the National
Federation organized one Seminar on "Future Role
of Urban Co-operative Banks" at Kathmandu, Nepal
from October 14 - 17, 2005 which was well
attended by participants representing different
banks of the country. Papers on important topics
like Corporate Governance, Efficient Management
of NPAs and Consolidation Procedures and Process
in UCBs, were presented and discussed in length
in the Seminar. The recommendations of the
Seminar were included in our submission made to
RBI for discussion on various issues concerning
the sector. |
